Youth Orchestra Registration
Open Auditions for the 2023-2024 Season are complete
All students interested in joining SPYO must audition to be considered.
To request a late audition, contact the conductor for the ensemble you are interested in joining.
Tuition & Fees
There is a non-refundable $25 registration fee to audition. Once students have been notified of their acceptance into one of the orchestras, there is an additional tuition. This can be paid in full or in three (3) installments, due by July 15, August 1, and September 1. If for any reason a student must leave the orchestra, the tuition will be not be refunded.

Tuition Assistance
Scholarships are offered in the form of a partial tuition waiver. Applications are due by July 15th. All information is confidential and used only to determine eligibility for financial assitance. Scholarships are a work-study-based award, and does not affect a musician’s orchestra standing.
Absence Form
As stated in the handbook, it is the musician’s responsibility to look over the season schedule and reconcile the concert dates with other activities.
If a musician is unable to attend a rehearsal, please fill out the following form at least 24 hours before the absence so that the Orchestra Manager(s) and Conductor can be notified.
